As John Eldredge says in his book, Wild at Heart, every man was once a boy. And every little boy has dreams, big dreams: dreams of being the hero, of beating the bad guys, of doing daring feats, and rescuing the damsel in distress. Every little girl has dreams too: of being rescued by her prince and swept up into a great adventure, knowing that she is the beauty.
Too often we lose the dream. In the midst of family, career, and responsibilities it fades away. But God hasn’t given up on us ‐ or our dreams.
Men need a deeper understanding of why they long for adventures and battles and a beauty ‐ and why God made them just like that. Boot camp is an expedition of the heart to recover a life of freedom, passion, and to help men get their heart back.

WHO: Men, ages 18 and older, who want to go deeper into healing their hearts and exploring their masculine journeys with God.
WHAT: The Wild Heart Boot Camp is a four-day quest into the recovery of your masculine soul as outlined in the book, Wild at Heart, by John Eldredge.
WHEN: Our next Boot Camp begins Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 6:30 PM and concludes on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 12:00pm. Please prayerfully consider your application prior to submitting. By applying, you are agreeing to be present for the entire event.
WHERE: LifeChange Camp is 13 miles north-east of Clinton, MO – appx. 1.5 hour drive from Kansas City.
COST: The cost for the event is $200. (Click here for payment options) The cost includes lodging, meals (Thursday dinner – Sunday breakfast), and training materials. Participants are responsible for getting to and from LifeChange Camp. Limited scholarships are available. You can begin the scholarship application process on the Boot Camp Scholarship page.

Wild Heart Boot Camp isn’t just another men’s retreat. That’s the last thing anybody needs. The reason most messages for men ultimately fail is simple: they ignore what is deep and true to a man’s heart and try to shape him up through various forms of pressure. Not this. This weekend is an honest, no‐BS trek into the deep passions and desires of a man’s heart, the healing of the wounds he’s taken in this battle, the realm of fatherhood and sex and God and calling ‐ life as it was meant to be lived.
Through the video sessions and times of quiet reflection you will discover something profound about the heart of God and the heart he gave you as a man. You were made in God’s image. He wants you to be passionate, alive, free, and living from the heart, just like Him. God is pursuing you. He wants to rescue you. He wants to transform your life and your heart if you will allow him to do so. He wants to father you through intimacy with Him.
